November 27, 2008 - Yellow green color, Ripe pear, crushed stones, white flowers and oak spice on the harmonious nose. At once ripe and crisp in the mouth with rich white fruit flavors followed by an intense, almost painfully tactile mineral presence. This skates a beautiful line between ripeness and verve. Finish is long and loaded with a saline-mineral like austerity. This really sings Corton Charlie and should reward even more after a few more years in the cellar....great at the table now though and really shined with half shell oysters with cucumber-mint granita. Buy more!
