September 11, 2020 - I have been wanting to try this @grgichhills Chardonnay for some time now and when I saw it was going to be part of a virtual tasting I couldn't resist.
The warmer growing season for this vintage lead to stunning tropical aromas of pineapple, mango and peach with a hint of vanilla.
Medium bodied, the palate has all the same tropical notes in addition to lime zest. The winemaker did not allow this Chardonnay to undergo malolactic fermentation, preserving the natural acidity.

The wine looks yellow colored. The legs are fast. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like peach, mango, pineapple and vanilla. It tastes like lime, peach, mango and pineapple. The body is medium. The wine has bright texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.
