  October 30, 2020 - Three words: storage, storage, and storage. This wine has so much life left in it, thanks to perfect storage, what a treat! The slightest pruning of the fruit on the nose and immediately on the palate shows its age, but cigar box, sweet jammy dark fruit, and tiny dusty tannins still give this wine life and interest. Finish lingers for a good 20 seconds, delivering more red fruits, some anise, and earth. Acid still remains, rather strong for a Zinfandel and its age, gorgeous color. A treat!
