Community Tasting Note

  October 30, 2020 - Back when this was released this was one of the best young Bedrock Heritage vintages I had tasted. Two years since this hasn't quite gone in the direction I would like, but it may just be in an awkward place for my preference.
  
  The nose is still knockout, beautifully plummy with smoky undertones, medicinal herbs, and jam. The palate has gotten quite sweet seeming, liqueur like without as much structure to back it up, makes it a bit tiring to drink. Hopefully this will fade back into balance in a few years.

  10/30/20, 7:35 PM - Thanks for the check-in. Did you listen to the Bedrock podcast where Morgan and Chris do a vertical tasting yet? They keep talking about this as a 40-50 year lifespan wine. Worth a listen to. (I dare not check in on this bottle for at least another 5 years)
