November 21, 2020 - 4th bottle from a half case bought en primeur. Possibly the best 02 I’ve had alongside Palmer and better than Poyferre, Lynch-Bages, Rauzan-Ségla and Montrose. Lovely complex blackcurrant, leather, oak and anise. Later caramel and violets. Very good length and balance. Sweet blackcurrant fruit is lighterin this bottle. Reached its peak last year although there’s plenty of tannins and acidity for a long and interesting future if old claret is for you. Great result for a lesser vintage.

11/21/20, 11:46 AM - Same impression of my 11 bottles from that underestimated millésime. Unfortunately, only one bottle remaining.
