November 6, 2020 - This wine is certainly taking it's time to unfurl. Much darker and denser textured than the 2011, which has a much higher-toned, red-fruited, instant charm. Clearly also a more 'serious' wine, dark fruits - cherry and blackberry, not quite blackcurrant (though maybe blackcurrant leaf?), with those animalistic and earthier tones (rather than leather at the moment).

My last note was 2016, when this was coiled tight, and whilst still having plenty of room (and stuff) to improve, this is slowly starting to progress into it's drinking window.

And considering this is only a commune not an MGA wine, and could easily develop over another decade, clearly shows how long some of these 2010's are going to live for.

12/6/20, 5:51 PM - THANK you so VERY much for the work you put into composing/entering both of your *exceptional* TNs for this wine! 😀 If you don't mind me asking, do you recollect what it accompanied & whether or not you decanted it? Finally, SHOULD you be interested, I just got done uploading https://www.cellartracker.com/showwikirevision.asp?iWine=1900534&JoinType=Wine&iIndex=1900534 , which at least lists the majority of the acclaim for this vintage. 😉
