Community Tasting Note

December 6, 2020 - my last of 4 bottles of this vintage, and a little disappointing. Could it have already been over the hill? Notes of Cedar with a pleasing acidity. I've had a few vintages of this cuvee and this is the first bottle that I was able to wait a few years to open and drink.

12/8/20, 2:24 PM - I think it is only just entering its drinking window, probably at its best in another five years

12/8/20, 3:26 PM - I am genuinely sorry this was your last bottle, as the Thalabert is several years away from reaching maturity. From all indications, it has the components to become an outstanding wine. We shall see.

12/8/20, 4:36 PM - I'm SO sorry this last bottle was disappointing for you. 🙁 In general these are supposed to be VERY cellar worthy, though since I've tasted but 1 vintage (an '05 in Oct '18) older than '15, I'm having to take the words of others on that.
