    December 12, 2020 - I tried the 2016 in the Summer, so I thought I'd try the 2015.
Still young but eminently drinkable now.
    Double decanted.
Unlike the 2016 no funk on the nose, but spicy herbaceous-ness and what I can only describe as red meat!
With a swirl the glass is dripping with legs.
Bit muted on the palate with lovely crunchy tannins that are softening. Bit of funk on the palate. Dark, cherry like fruit on the aftertaste.
    Yum.
On initial tasting prefer the 2016.

Opened another bottle 1st April 2024.
    Quick double decant.
Intense morello cherry colour, with all sorts going on on the nose. Dark brambly fruit, spice, giving way to some more interesting notes of wood, cherry and menthol. Smooth on the palate, tannins well integrated, but a touch muted flavour wise.
More interesting on the nose than the palate.

Drinking well now. A super wine, that doesn't break then bank so excellent PQR.

Will buy again although sadly the master wine maker died. Hopefully his heirs will continue making this excellent wine.
