  December 12, 2020 - Surprisingly ripe and appealing for the vintage while remaining classically styled. Cassis combined with strawberries and cherries on the nose, cut blackcurrant branches, mint. Fresh, cool, precise. The fruit gets a bit muddy on the palate, with a bit of a roasted character. But the balance is good, there’s decent density of flavour and length, and the finish is pleasantly persistent. At peak but no rush to drink.
