  December 13, 2020 - Decanted for 2.5hrs. This is focused and symmetrical. The tannins are there but nearly imperceptible. This wine is like a wound coil. It’s primary, but it has energy and seems like it is ready to really blossom into a large wine. My experience with Duhart is that it usually is a wine of finesse. This is no exception for the moment, but perhaps in a three to ten years it will be the biggest wine that I have had from this chateau. No harm in opening these now, but I think the best is yet to come.
