  December 16, 2008 - Popped and poured - should have decanted as there was a bit of sediment - and served with beef stew. Nice aromas of cherries and earth. Medium bodied, with deep fruit flavors along with hints of iodine and beef blood. Very smooth and well balanced. Drinking very nicely now, but no reason to hurry on my remaining bottle.
