  December 18, 2008 - 12/16/08:Light purple color with a nose of raspberry, earth and spice. The nose was much more subtle than the flavors which are complex and layers, of raspberry and cherry, with hints of cola and chocolate, lots of spice, wet earth and mineral. The most distinctive attribute was the balance of alcohol, tannis, acidity, and enough structure that this medium bodied wine has enough weight to drink on its own, but enough subtlety to make it a nice wine with food as well. The finish is long with sharp tannin, mineral and strawberry.
