January 10, 2021 - Air for an hour,
Appearance: medium ruby, with legs and petillaiance
On nose : med+ intensity, red fruit: ripe raspberry, cranberry, red flora, tobacco, prominent licorice, tea leafiness, subtle French vanilla oak, very pleasant and still developing. After an hour, it turned to some thyme more leafiness aroma.
On palate : high acidity and strong intensity flavor with good structure, red fruit and flora on front palate and then lichorice and leafiness follow through on mid palate. Med+ but fine and carpets like tannin with Med+ alcohol and med+ body, med + finishing with an enjoyable mineral aftertaste.
This premium wine is surely at the peak now, which is full of intensity and elegance with great balance. A mixture of calmness, comfort, and potential. It was loved by everyone in our tasting gathering. Enjoy and open now! I found that I was lucky to buy it 5 years ago with $HKD 1000 only! Cheers!786 views
