January 8, 2021 - Slightly reductive, but an hour of aeration blows the barn away and gives way to a delicious bowl of dark forest berries and raspberries. Also very floral, towards violets, and a surprisingly delicate scent, faint hints of sage and pepper, as well as some lightly toasted wood in the background. Fresh in the mouth, cool juicy fruit, medium concentration, medium plus acidity, light firm tannins and a delicate finish that gors on for quite some time. A nicely balanced wine that keeps me interested all evening. If Northern-Rhône and Beaujolais Cru were to have a son, I'm pretty sure this would be him.
This wine punches well above it's weight class. Bravo!
