  January 10, 2021 - This is the fourth bottle drank from a 1/2 case purchased on release. Color showing some lightening- now light ruby- going to garnet. Still opaque though.
  
  Complex and evolved aromas of macerated cherry, kirsch, , melted red licorice and some herbs (thyme) and pepper.
  
  Full bodied with medium tannin and still very fresh acidity. Very structured for an 07 CDP. The finish is definitely long.
  
  Drink now or hold for another decade (not sure it will improve though).
