  January 15, 2021 - First time having K Vintners. Incredibly ripe with a strong backbone. Youthful. Reminds me of Paso Syrah.

  1/16/21, 12:06 PM - THANK you for having taken the time to submit this & comparing it to Paso! 🙂 Looks like I've close to 20 TNs here for various K Vintners' Syrahs (this one, however, only from a tasting bar sans food), & though I would never have thought of it myself, a comparison to Paso Syrahs *is* apropos, at least with respect to that AVA's "typical" ripeness! 😉 Since I've not tried matching this with food, do you mind sharing how you paired it & whether or not you decanted it?

  1/16/21, 12:48 PM - It paired quite successfully to a spicy, marinated Korean beef dish. I did decant but wrote the tasting note after 10-15 of air. Over 1-1.5 hours it changed mildly.
