Community Tasting Note

  • DavidWong168 Does not like this wine: 86 points

January 16, 2021 - Medium ruby. Decanted for an hour and followed over three. Starts with subtle vanilla, menthol, pyrazines, tobacco and cedar. Baked plums and raspberry flavors. Decent entry but quickly falls off a cliff. The finish feels watered down. Seems disjointed showing ripeness and greenness at the same time. The oak becomes prominent with air. Disappointing QPR.

1/18/21, 8:47 PM - Thanks for the note. I have a case of this that I need to check on. I recall my last bottle being very feminine for a Medoc and even for a Margaux. Hopefully there is some life left.
