  January 19, 2021 - Decanted for three hours and consumed over the following three. Dark purple in the glass with aromas of dark fruit, cassis, pencil lead and flint. On the palate, flavors of black and blue fruits, chocolate, tobacco, raspberry and cinnamon with underlying elements of pine nuts, herbs and cedar. Thick, robust and structured but also well balanced with tannins, alcohol and fruits wrapped up in the full bodied and lingering finish. This wine is just now entering the prime drinking window and will continue to mellow for five years in a proper cellar.
