January 29, 2021 - The 2007 CdP vintage continues to perplex me as it hasn’t aged well. As a PNP, it was less than impressive & then I arifified it after my first glass. With that, the nose opened up exploding with black fruit & floral notes. Palate is all dense chewy black fruit, not stewed but thick. Just enough acid to have balance but definitely a heavy wine with a lasting finish. Bit of heat on the finish.
