February 7, 2021 - Opened a bottle, killed a baby. What strikes me is how well this drinks young. The fruit took about 15 minutes to start coming out and then it seemed to be a race as both it and the oak built for at least an hour. Normally I like my Italians with more age, this drank surprisingly well young, with an initial burst of what I'd almost call blue fruits, settling into a lighter sweeter red fruit style.
