February 9, 2021 - Slow ox for 30 minutes. At first it was a little reticent but after 20 minutes it came to life with aromas of blackberry, tar and violets. The wine is medium bodied, quite light on its feet for nebbiolo without a lot of evident tannin, simple and delicious. For everyday drinker this delivers the goods and at the price it’s a great buy

2/10/21, 8:49 AM - Thanks for the tasting notes, still waiting for mine to arrive.
Perhaps the addition of barbera to the nebbiolo as you mentioned gave it a lighter less tannic impression.
Looking forward to taste myself! -

2/12/21, 5:34 PM - You picked up quite nicely that something was a bit out of the ordinary for a nebbiolo. Don’t know the percentage but from your notes my guess is for a significant share rather than a few percent, quite a bit of the barbera coming through.
Cheers!
