  February 17, 2021 - - Garnet color - Popped and poured. Brown bricking around the edges with a slight stewed plum smell. Nice acid, but lacking in fruit and overall depth. Sadly, this bottle seems tired and not a lot to it. Over the next 40 minutes, a berry expression started to appear and it got slightly sweeter. After about 60 minutes the funk on the nose blew away, and it became a bit more muscular and enjoyable to drink. Really glad to have this experience and see the evolution this wine made over an hour and 20 minutes.
