  February 22, 2021 - Advertised as a Spätlese trocken style and fits that bill. Ripe apple/pear, ginger and other spice (is there some botrytis?? I think so), some mildly sulphury boiled egg, a hint of earthy mushroom. Some lemon. Juicy acid (M+), lean body (M-). A nice example of late harvest, cold climate riesling and of how good and how interesting Riesling can be in the $20 range. This should have a few years of good drinking left but it’s good now. 6.6/10
