  March 5, 2021 - Showing its age, but still a very nice bottle. 1st one we opened was bad....can't pinpoint what, but it was just not good. This bottle was fine. As with my experience with other 1979 Bordeaux, this is delicate. Didn't decant, afraid to. Didnt need a decant, it developed nicely in the glass. Perhaps a 30 or 45 min slow-ox to let it blossom.
