March 21, 2021 - On open, there's actually some funk on the nose. It blew off quickly but it did give me some Pegau flashbacks (a good thing.)
Cherries, blackberries, pepper, and plenty of earth and crushed gravel. I would have absolutely guessed CdP if tasting blind.
Full-bodied and delicious now, it should last several more years. As close to a Southern Rhone as I've had in a California wine. Well done!2,055 views
