Community Tasting Note

  • blacktruffle Likes this wine: 90 points

April 1, 2021 - Very well made and a great village wine. Lots of energy. Cherries and dark raspberries with a gentle background of wood. Approachable and great for drinking young. A little hollow on the mid-palate, otherwise this would be a 91+ point wine.

4/1/21, 7:33 PM - Thank you for your feedback. I wrote a note on every 2018 that I have so far: Charmes Chambertin, Lavaut St Jacques, Le Clos, Champ. I am bidding for a few bottles of Latricieres.

4/2/21, 7:47 AM - I have every other cuvee he made in 18 except the Bourgogne Blanc and Rouge and the Gevrey en Vosne (a cuvee sold only to restaurants) if you want singles to taste. I am in DC area if you ever get down here.
