  January 3, 2009 - Exceptional wine at its prime (note 6L bottle stored at 51F).
  
  Decanted from 6L bottle into 5 gal water bottle 2hrs before party. Cleaned 6L bottle and returned wine. (Huge, crystal-like chunks in the sludge, btw.)
  
  Tons of character, great color, bright red fruits on nose, smooth as silk mouth feel, completely integrated. Most of the guests refused to move on to the next wines until this bottle was empty. ;-)
