  April 5, 2021 - 95% CS/2.5% Merlot/2.5% CF. Rich black cherry, cassis, and blackberry fruit. Big structure on the mid-palate with notes of tobacco leaf, smoke, leather, black licorice, crushed rock, and toasty oak. Still firm tannins on the finish which is long and beautiful. Typical Howell Mountain wine as this is far from being in its prime even after 15 years. This can easily go another decade.
