April 7, 2021 - Very good. In a nutshell: classic, high quality Australian Shiraz with an interesting menthol twist
Deep tawny color, clearly showing its age
Fairly intense aroma, mainly secondary and tertiary: cloves, biscuit, menthol. Some ripe plum left.
Full, juicy body and quite a long finish. Not much acid. Tannins very soft now. Flavour very similar to the nose - nutmeg, biscuit, menthol, a bit of plum.1,308 views
