April 7, 2021 - Decanted >1 hour. First time tasting a Delmas wine although I ordered blindly when I received an allocation. On the nose, a typical Rocks (Milton Freewater Oregon) Syrah with funk, mushroom, forest floor, herbs and earth. I expected a "Cayuse" like wine and the nose led me there however this was big, dark red fruit that was extremely smooth and very tasty in the mouth. Still a hint of funk but WOW, a great tasting wine and I am very happy I have allocation to this. Superb.
