  April 10, 2021 - From magnum; this was markedly better than a 750ml last year; the nose started smoky and savory, but opened with air to show more dried currant, cherry, damp earth, some mushroom, and leather. The palate was truly remarkable, silky and yet very fresh considering the age with a mid palate sweetness and concentration that was incredible. Best Chateauneuf I've ever consumed.

  4/11/21, 7:29 AM - I found the magnum on Benchmark wine a couple of years ago. Only one I've ever seen.
