  January 5, 2009 - Wonderful tar, blueberry and floral nose which gives way to a rich palate of blue and blackberries with a touch of anise and vanilla. Tannins are smooth, lifting acidity and medium plus finish. Fared extremely well with shortribs smoked on a Big Green Egg. 92+ (Having had the '05 I may need to crack one soon, as it was significantly better than the '04).
