  January 5, 2009 - 1/05/09: Dark ruby color. The aromas are an enticing blend of cherry, plum, ginger, spice, anise and floral notes. The tastes are cherry and other dark red berry fruit , earth.and stone. This is a balanced but not hugely complex, medium bodied wine with enough acidity and tannin to keep it interesting. The finish is neither long or compelling with some mineral, earth and tannin. All in all nice, but I expected more. Certainly no great value.
