  April 23, 2021 - This was my first Amarone since having become a wine enthusiast, so I have no basis of comparison...but after reading about Amarones and the reviews for this one, I was underwhelmed and disappointed. It was lighter bodied than I expected and more acidic. The palate was decent, of fig and candied plum, followed by mocha coffee. Medium finish. I think I would have enjoyed this more if it was $10 cheaper.
