May 4, 2021 - I'm not sure what to make of this. When I opened it, I thought it must be oxidized, as the color is halfway between a dark gold and amber. The nose is kind of goofy. A bit of marzipan, some quince and maybe dried apricot. Funny thing is it doesn't taste over the hill. It has good acidity and some richness. Held up over 3 days. Definitely not what I'm looking for in a 7 year old Condrieu, but still worth drinking.
