May 3, 2021 - Agreed with the last couple of reviews. This feels leaner and lower in extract than other bottlings. However, I wouldn't call it lighter as there is plenty of alcohol giving it some volume. I also agree that it drinks more like a fancy Cotes du Rhone than a CdP but that may be also because it is extremely young.
The nose is clean, of medium intensity with mostly red fruits, some garrigue and a hint of kirsch. Dry but plenty of fruit on the palate. It is ripe with good acidity and light grip. Tannins are velvety to silky. Finish is a bit hot and of medium length.
I'm sure this will age for a handful of years but not sure about any further aging. There's enough acid but the ripeness and alcohol worry me a bit. Only time will tell if this succeeds or it turns into prunes and raisins.
    Cheers!
