  May 19, 2021 - My favourite just from Hudelot Noellat Richebourg 2000 and Rene Engel Clos Vougeot 2002. Still quite deep ruby. Colour of a wine much younger! Lots of dark fruit and substance on the palate. Nose is deep forest, truffle, black cherry, leather and some soil/spice notes. Bigger and bolder than the other 2 wines, maybe less pure but more savage and powerful. Great with a 28ox rib eye (between 2 of us!) Fabulous and lots of life in this wine. Sadly only 2 left from an OCB...
