Community Tasting Note

  • GD77 Likes this wine: 94 points

June 9, 2021 - Drank this after the 2014 straight cab sav. Lots of similarities but at the moment I preferred the first wine which is just drinking wonderfully. I think, however, this wine will end up in a better place but unlike screwcaps below I reckon it is best held for a few more years, at least. If I did not have the comparison I would have said it is great now and go for it. This wine has a bit more tannin, oak and structure and I still find it a touch tight and lacking any secondary development. Easily 94. lovely.

Did you drink over one or two days?

And is your stock ex Dans?

6/12/21, 12:44 AM - No drank in one sitting, ex Dans stock. I just love the straight cab sav from this vintage. The straight one I drank over 2 days, but it did not change that much. Both lovely wines.
