June 14, 2021 - 2021 Napa - June 9-12: This was the biggest of the Kinsman wines. Fruit peeking through the tannic structure but plenty of acid to age gracefully. More open and less tannic than I remember the 2016 at a similar stage. Shae suggested drinking ‘17 before ‘16 or ‘18. I agree and will let these babies rest for 7 years if not more. I think AG hit this spot on…in 7-9 years, and for a long drinking window. Patience is your friend for optimal results and buy, buy, buy, if you can find it!
