  June 17, 2021 - Slow ox for an hour and consumed over three hours. Dark violet/purple in the glass. Aromatic with red and blue fruits on the nose. Nicely balanced on the palate with sweet cherry, licorice, plum and chocolate "sage" flavors, with sufficient acidity and tannic structure supporting the fruit. Smooth, elegant finish. Just enough spiciness to keep this wine interesting throughout the evening. Excellent wine and just bearly short of outstanding!
