Served after an hour decant with Stuffed Bell Peppers & coleslaw. Translucent Ruby-red in the glass. Cherry, raspberry and cranberry with a slight hint of alcohol on the nose. Cherry and cranberry on the palate, with hints of spice and pepper. Light to medium body, with subdued tannins. Seemed slightly harsh, like cedar or oak, and may benefit from cellar time to smooth and round out.3 people found this helpful 2,030 views

As an old boss I had once said: "It's not good; But it's cheap." ;) ;) OK, OK, Robledo is not that bad (anything less than 85 pts may be a little 'dodgy' in my book), but I think that Pinot Noir, like Chardonnay, may well be worth paying a little extra for a 'really good' bottle.
