  January 18, 2009 - 1/16/09: Pretty red color. The nose is red fruit, vanilla, oak, bell pepper, earth and tobacco. The flavors are plum and cherry, and vanilla, spice and integrated oak. The wine is medium to full bodied, with good structure and excellent balance, velvety tannins, good acidity and although not a lot of depth there are enough layers to give it enough nuance to make it interested. The finish is pure with not sharp corners.
