  July 2, 2021 - Opened after work on a Friday with a quick decant (15 minutes) before we dove in. Tannins are moving to the background but there is still some oakiness that needs to integrate before this wine really starts to hit the high notes. Give it another few years and it will be in an incredible spot. Plenty of fruit left to keep going for a long time.
  
  Not the most restrained CA wine I've had, but definitely more on the traditional style than a bombastic and over-the-top wine. It fits that sweet spot of a delicious and highly drinkable wine. I generally liked this more than the Sojourn Pinots we've had.
