  July 8, 2021 - Light on its feet and ready to drink now. Give this wine a slight chill to emphasize the refreshing acidity. As with similar pinots, I enjoy the lighter style with high aromatics. Light red, nearly transparent depth. Complex aromas of dank forest floor, hints of lavender and, with time in the decanter, the lovely light red and tart fruits such as wild red raspberry and strawberry emerge. There is a bit of smoke here too that adds to the complexity. Light mouthfeel and at the same time, mouthwatering, gum coating tart medium+ acid, no tannins to speak of and, on the extended finish , the fruit makes its entrance.
