  Nose: Light baking chocolate, spicebox, hint of paprika.
  
  Mouth: A core of polished black cherry and black plum are threaded through with light notes of coffee bean, baking chocolate, crushed clove, bitter tar, and graphite. Finish is lighter than expected for all of the upfront heft, but keeps elegantly clean by the end, with notes of dried forest berry and graphite lingering.
  
  Overall: A showstopper effort out of this cuvee. Other years have been fabulous, this one is utterly stellar. Drinks a bit like quality Left Bank in it's handling and finesse, with some of the flavor profile to match. Shows structure and density in spades. Lovely now, but deserves more than a couple years in bottle to begin to unfurl adequately. Drink 2024 - 2037.
