July 24, 2021 - Saturday hangout at Domaine (Chicago, IL): Wow -- one of the best bottles of Moreau Chassagne I've had. This is outstanding white Burgundy. It is very Chassagne with its texture and richness, but also has plenty of the requisite acidity. Somewhat oily with that kind of lanolin-like note, this certainly shows some age. Nonetheless there are still some stone fruit flavours out for display.

7/24/21, 6:29 PM - I think you nail pretty well what Chassagne is like - and it helps me understand better why I don't like the wines (on average) much compared to Puligny, Meursault and Chablis.
