Community Tasting Note

July 27, 2021 - Vice Versa weekend and dinner: Honeyed apricot, lemon succulence, the ripest peach you’ve ever had, clementine, wet flowers, lemon verbena, and a mélange of herbs all make for the most impressive of Sauternes known to the free world. Pair it with seared foie and you have the most amazing “traditional” pairing you could ever ask for. “I’ve died and gone to Heaven” was uttered more than once by many a partaker that night. Drink now and feel like a million bucks!

    7/27/21, 3:12 PM - I haven't had the 09. I've had Y'quem only a few times (can't recall other vintages). This 01 was the best in memory.
