  August 1, 2021 - This was a double blind horizontal tasting by Mike, across four bottlings. This wine had a deep red/purple center and red/orange rims. The medium+ intensity nose emanated cherry vanilla, black spices, minerals, plums, and anise.
  
  This wine was once again very rich and ripe in the mouth but still gorgeously integrated with firm acidity, and rounded tannin. It had outstanding length.
  
  Again, I would be very surprised, given the intensity of this wine, if it did not come from old vines. It was spectacular and will keep going strong for 10+ years.
