  August 2, 2021 - Really good. This was the “13th bottle” of a birth year case for my daughter and since her two siblings are away at camp, game on😆 (much of this note is her suggestions, edited). 16 years have done well with this; any hard edges are gone, it has a deep rich soft palate but retains enough acidity on the finish to not be cloying. Deep soft dark red fruits on the nose and palate (tho the nose suggested more fruit than the palate delivered), blackberry and plum come to mind, maybe also some red sweet cherry. Some dark chocolate flavors but not the tannins that might go with that. Only quibble is the finish could be longer.
