  August 3, 2021 - Unknown producer to me but seems like not to CT as this has more notes than the other two wines I just rated which were far better known in my book.
  
  The wine is a classic definition of claret in a pure old-school fashion. I think 2000 being a ripe vintage really helps bring out a bit more of the fruit without the rusticity. But that being said, I was blown away by this given this is one of the very few super traditional Bordeaux producers left. This shows how special truly the terroir of Bordeaux is and most wines don't really need the modern make-up that the producers feel that they need.
